Nary a glance of permission thou sent
nor an apology for what must come.
Must thou reveal his whispered caresses,
candidly, with unrestrained abandon,
without the smallest apprehensive twitch?
Sacred words, scattered to uninvited ears,
used insolently to substantiate
a claim resulting in personal gain.
Thou art half a man with twice the verbiage.
Thou has abused thy role of a father.
Whilst methinks my dearest love sinks into
an insanity caused by my rebuff.
Dost thou stumble on the edge of madness?
Oh heavens, if thou only knew of my
father's orders to reject thy sweet love!
Would Hyperion shine a light to guide
thou who is falling into an abyss?
For I am powerless, trapped in this den,
and now all I can do is reminisce.
Words, words, words...
